Scenario from a practical lesson

for the profession: MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Qualification: MEC.09 Organization and supervision of machinery and equipment manufacturing processes.

Class: IV

Number of hours: 10 hours

Place of holding classes: P.P.H.U. Filstal, Maciej Filutowski 17-300 Siemiatycze

Topic of practical classes: Control and analysis of quality parameters of manufacturing processes of machine and equipment parts.

Unit Themes:

  1. Conducting quality control of the product
  2. Verification and analysis of inspection results

OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE CLASS:

To raise awareness of the need to supervise the production process

OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES:

  • The student identifies the objectives of product quality control
  • The student controls the dimensions of the workpiece made on the lathe
  • The student controls the roughness of the workpiece made on the lathe
  • The student controls the cylindricity, roundness, cylindricity, transverse and longitudinal runout of the workpiece made on the lathe
  • The student verifies the results of inspections during turning and makes decisions on possible changes to the lathe, cutting tools, cutting parameters when there are differences from the expected dimensions of the workpiece
  • The student controls the dimensions of the workpiece being made on the milling machine
  • The student controls the roughness of the workpiece made on the milling machine
  • The student controls the flatness, straightness, parallelism of the surface of the workpiece made on the milling machine
  • The student verifies the results of inspections during milling and makes decisions on possible changes to the milling machine, cutting tools, and cutting parameters when there are differences from the expected dimensions of the workpiece
  • The student modifies the technological process when there are production shortages

ACTIVITY OBJECTIVES:

  • Cognitive: The purpose of supervising production processes
  • Educational: Supervise the production process by analyzing documentation, quality control, implementing technological changes
