The student identifies the rights and responsibilities of the employee and the employer in the field of occupational health and safety

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome in apprenticeship:

  • lists the employer’s health and safety rights and obligations
  • lists the rights and obligations of the employee in the field of health and safety at work
  • distinguishes between types of preventive medical examinations
  • distinguishes between types of mandatory occupational health and safety training
  • characterizes the system of penalties and the consequences of the employee’s and employer’s failure to comply with occupational health and safety regulations
  • indicates the obligations of the employee and the employer in the prevention of accidents at work and occupational diseases
  • Explains the terms occupational disease and accident at work
  • distinguishes between types of benefits for accidents at work and occupational diseases

Subject, skill or competence: Occupational health and safety

The student organizes the workplace in accordance with the requirements of ergonomics, regulations and the principles of occupational safety and health, fire protection and environmental protection

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome at the apprenticeship:

  • determines the factors to be taken into account when organizing the office space in accordance with the requirements of ergonomics
  • defines the ergonomic requirements for the sitting workstation and the computer workstation
  • Defines safe and hygienic working conditions at the office workstation
  • indicates the obligations of the employer in organizing the working time of an employee working at the computer
  • Indicates preventive measures to prevent hazards at the office workstation
  • Recognizes fire risk situations during office work
  • Indicates the requirements of office technical means and office materials conducive to environmental protection

Subject, skill or competence: Fundamentals of economics and statistics

The student observes the principles of archiving the documentation of the organizational unit

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome in apprenticeship:

  • classifies business-related documents according to various criteria
  • uses terms in the field of data storage, such as archiving, archive collection, archive, database
  • indicates the differences between archival and non-archival records
  • classifies documents into an archival category
  • indicates the ways of organizing and qualifying the documentation intended for transfer to the company archive
  • applies the principles of marking archival collections
  • determines the period of retention of archival records according to their type
  • Follows the rules for making archival collections available to third parties
  • indicates how to deal with archival records after the expiration of the statute of limitations

Subject, skill or competence: Personnel management and payroll accounting

The student conducts employee recruitment and personnel records

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome at the apprenticeship:

  • Edits recruitment ads, e.g., for placement in newspapers, multimedia applications
  • selects an employee candidate based on the analysis of application documents
  • formally verifies the documents of the employee candidate collected in connection with his application for employment
  • draws up documents related to the establishment and termination of the employment relationship
  • qualifies employee documents to the appropriate parts of the personnel file
  • maintains records and registers related to the employment relationship, such as time record cards, record cards for the allocation of clothing and work shoes and personal protective equipment, records of accidents at work, documentation of occupational diseases
  • draws up certificates for an employee arising from the employment relationship, such as a certificate of employment, a certificate of salary
  • interprets statements made for tax and insurance reporting purposes by persons performing a professional task under civil law contracts
  • draws up civil law contracts for the performance of professional tasks, such as a contract for work, a contract of mandate

  • draws up a contract for the lending of a vehicle not owned by the employer for business purposes
  • calculates the amount of reimbursement for the employee’s use of vehicles not owned by the employer

Student settles salary

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome in apprenticeship:

  • calculates the basic salary according to different remuneration systems
  • calculates compulsory and voluntary allowances to basic salary and equivalents, such as overtime allowance, night work allowance, function allowance, long service allowance, equivalent for washing work clothes
  • calculates remuneration for time not worked, e.g., for incapacity due to illness, for paid vacation time
  • calculates the mandatory contribution and tax burden on income from the employment relationship
  • calculates mandatory deductions from wages for civil and administrative law titles, such as alimony and non alimony deductions, tax arrears
  • prepares payrolls and registered payroll cards of employees
  • calculates, on the basis of the statements submitted, the mandatory and voluntary tax and contribution charges on income from civil law contracts.
  • prepares bills for civil law contracts

The student conducts human resources and payroll matters using information technology and computer systems

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome in apprenticeship:

  • prepares personnel records in a word processor
  • prepares employee correspondence in a word processor, such as employment and income certificates
  • prepares personnel documents in a personnel and payroll program, such as a personal questionnaire, employment contract, civil law contracts, certificate of employment
  • settles remuneration for employment contracts and civil law contracts using a human resources and payroll program, e.g., prepares payrolls, prepares receipts for civil law contracts, prepares registered employee payroll cards, prepares time record cards

Subject, skill or competence: Personnel management and payroll accounting

The student uses various forms of settlement with contractors

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome in apprenticeship:

  • distinguishes between forms of cash and non-cash settlements
  • prepares cash and non-cash trading documents
  • calculates interest for delay in commercial transactions
  • Interprets the provisions of past due transaction documents, such as an interest note

Subject, skill or competence: Personnel management and payroll accounting

The student conducts tax returns of individuals and organizational units that are not corporate taxpayers

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome at the apprenticeship:

  • prepares documentation of fixed asset turnover
  • calculates depreciation of fixed and intangible assets for tax purposes
  • calculates advance payments of income tax for individuals engaged in business activities taxed in various forms
  • prepares settlement documents for goods and services tax
  • prepares transfer orders for tax purposes
  • prepares the annual accounts of the payer of advances on income tax for the employment of employees, such as information on income and collected advances on income tax for the employee, the annual declaration on collected advances on income tax
  • prepares the annual tax return for sole proprietors
  • prepares the annual tax return for non-business individuals
  • determines the period of storage of tax documents

Subject, skill or competence: Personnel management and payroll accounting

The student keeps accounts with the Social Security Administration

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome at the apprenticeship:

  • calculates contributions for social insurance, health insurance, Labor Fund and Guaranteed Employee Benefits Fund
  • draws up documents for reporting the payer of contributions and insured persons to the Social Insurance Institution and corrections of these documents
  • prepares monthly settlement documents with the Social Insurance Institution and corrections to these documents
  • draws up a payment document to the Social Insurance Institution
  • draws up documents that are the basis for obtaining benefits, such as sickness benefit, care benefit, maternity benefit

Subject, skill or competence: Personnel management and payroll accounting

The student conducts tax and Social Security settlements using information technology and computer systems

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome at the apprenticeship:

  • maintains revenue records in a financial and accounting program
  • Maintains records of goods and services tax in the financial and accounting program
  • prepares fixed asset turnover documents in a computer program
  • maintains additional records in the financial and accounting program, such as fixed asset records, equipment records, vehicle mileage records
  • prepares in the financial-accounting and personnel-payroll software the settlement and payment documentation to the tax office
  • prepares annual personal income tax returns using specialized applications
  • prepares sets of application and settlement documents of the premium payer in the program for settlements with the Social Insurance Institution
  • draws up a payment document in a program for settlements with the Social Security Institution

Subject, skill or competence: Personal and social competence

The student observes the principles of personal culture and professional ethics

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome in apprenticeship:

  • Identifies channels for communicating information in the office, such as paper and electronic correspondence, direct contact and telephone calls, non-verbal contact
  • Uses forms of politeness in written and oral communication
  • Recognizes the principles of building good interpersonal relationships in office work
  • Recognizes ethical principles in office work, such as secrecy related to the profession and workplace, fiduciary confidentiality, client welfare, moral responsibility
  • respects the rules regarding the observance of secrecy related to the profession and the workplace

The student plans the work of the team to complete the assigned tasks

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome in apprenticeship:

  • distinguishes between individual and team tasks
  • systematizes the stages of the team planning process
  • identifies sub-tasks
  • draws up a schedule for the implementation of the task

Application for practice program

The form will be sent to the Practice Manager of the W. St. Reymonta Technical School Complex. in Czartajew. The decision to enroll a student in an internship with a selected employer on a specific date is made by the Practice Manager, based on the applications sent and the availability of places.
