Subject, skill or competence: Occupational health and safety

The learner determines the conditions and organization of work to ensure the required level of protection of health and life from hazards present in the work environment

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome in apprenticeship:

  • lists the laws on occupational health and safety, fire protection, environmental protection and ergonomics
  • identifies intra-company regulations on occupational safety and health
  • applies the principles of fire protection in the work environment
  • determines the ergonomic requirements at the workstation
  • applies the principles of handling hazardous waste

Subject, skill or competence: Occupational health and safety

The student provides first aid for medical emergencies

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome in apprenticeship:

  • describes the basic symptoms indicating medical emergencies
  • assesses the situation of the victim based on an analysis of the symptoms observed in the victim
  • secures himself, the injured person and the site of the accident
  • places the injured person in a safe position
  • notifies the relevant services
  • Demonstrates the provision of first aid for traumatic medical emergencies, such as hemorrhage, crushing, amputation, fracture, burns
  • Demonstrates the administration of first aid in non-traumatic medical emergencies, such as syncope, myocardial infarction, stroke
  • performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation on a phantom in accordance with the guidelines of the Polish Resuscitation Council and the European Resuscitation Council

  • selects computer technology equipment according to the technical requirements of the workstation

The student performs the following activities within the framework of the described Learning Outcome in apprenticeship:

  • distinguishes between types of malware
  • distinguishes between types of hacking attacks
  • lists security measures against malware and hacking attacks
  • lists the threats to the mental (emotional), physical, social, and cognitive spheres from being in cyberspace
  • describes the threats to the mental (emotional), physical, social, cognitive spheres of a person from being in cyberspace and ways to counteract these threats
  • Follows the rules of secure data storage

Application for practice program

The form will be sent to the Practice Manager of the Technical School Complex. Reymonta in Czartajew. The decision to enroll a student in an internship with a selected employer on a specific date is made by the Practice Manager, based on the applications sent and the availability of places.
